The purposes of the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio are:
- To create an interreligious community based on understanding, friendship and trust.
- To educate adherents and the public about customs and practices of faith traditions.
- To provide interfaith public worship and ceremonies expressing local and global concerns.
- To promote social justice, peace and human dignity.
Interfaith Association of Central (IACO) Goals:
First Goal
IACO provides new and innovative ways of involving and expanding networks of people from diverse faith communities in the interfaith movement.
Second Goal
IACO is recognized by its members and the public as premier interfaith organization for interfaith information, education and connections that lead to action.
Third Goal
IACO fosters mutual understanding and respect amongst various faith traditions through dialogues, education and action.
Fourth Goal
IACO is a non partisan organization that promotes its values of justice, peace, truthfulness, respect and interconnectedness of all life through dialogue with the faith communities and in the public domain.
